A bold blend of modern tone and vintage styling, the Ludwig Epic Standard series delivers serious performance for the gigging drummer. This 6-piece shell pack is in the lovely Natural to Blackburst lacquer finish, accented with bronze-coated hardware and Ludwig’s distinctive Classic Keystone lugs.
The Epic’s hybrid shells combine birch and maple plies – birch on the inner and outer layers for projection and focus, with maple sandwiched in the middle for warmth and tonal depth. Toms feature 6-ply shells, while the snare and bass drum are built with 8-ply shells for added power and presence.
The result is a visually stunning, road-ready kit with a punchy, modern voice – ideal for rock, funk, and fusion players looking for standout looks and sound.
Condition:
This shell pack is in very good overall condition. It shows some light signs of use, such as minor cosmetic marks, but it has been well looked after. There is no visible rust or corrosion on any of the metalwork.

Drum Heads:
All of the heads on this kit apart from the snare have been fitted with Remo Ebony's. The 10" & 16" toms feature Remo Ebony Ambassadors while the 12" & 14" have Remo Ebony Pinstripes fitted to them. All of the tom heads are in good condition showing signs of use but certainly have life left in them.
The kick drum has been fitted with a Remo Ebony Pinstripe which is in great condition showing signs of use but with plenty of life left in it.
The snare drum currently has a clear Ludwig stock head fitted to it however, I will likely to change this to a coated head of sorts. Please get in touch regarding this if you'd like to know more.
