This DW Jazz Series shell pack combines classic looks with Drum Workshop’s renowned build quality. Built to the same high standard as DW’s Collector’s Series, the Jazz Series differs primarily in its 7-ply Maple / Gum / Maple shell construction, which delivers a warm, open sound with excellent low-end response and smooth articulation.
Perfectly suited to jazz, funk, soul, studio work, and dynamic live playing, this kit also features a host of high-end DW appointments, including die-cast hoops, STM suspension mounts, True-Pitch tension rods, and the DW 7771 rail mount.
Finished in DW’s Blood Red gloss lacquer, this kit has real depth and presence, standing out beautifully in person. The colour appears richer and more vibrant in the flesh than in photographs.
Condition:
Overall this kit is very good condition showing some signs of use which are purely cosmetic. Most notably, there is a small chip on the top of the bass drum which has likely occurred from the tom holder rubbing against it. There are some marks on the bass drum hoop around the pedal mounting area. Besides these 2 points, the kit overall is in fantastic condition.

Drum Heads:
The 2 toms on this kit both have Remo Coated Ambassadors on them. These look new in condition. The 12" tom resonant head is fitted with a clear Yamaha head. The 16" tom resonant head is fitted with a Remo Clear Ambassador head
The bass drum is fitted with a Coated Evans EMAD which also looks new in condition with a faint mark from a bass drum beater. The resonant side is fitted with the stock Smooth Coated DW head.
