A beautiful example of a fully original Hayman Vibrasonic kit finished in brushed silver. This true piece of British drum history was made in England during between 1969-1973. The Vibrasonic series was known for its unique "resonator shell" design which features an internal reflective liner to enhance projection and tone.
This really is a special piece as it is almost 100% original. The tom holder, bass drum spurs, floor tom legs, snare throw off, snare wires. The only part unfortunately that has clearly been replaced is the snare heads. The brushed silver wrap has aged gracefully showing its vintage character without losing appeal.
Condition:
This kit is in great vintage condition overall, showing light surface wear and minor cosmetic marks consistent with age. Chrome hardware remains clean and fully functional, with only light patina in a few areas. The bass drum lugs show slightly more wear than the rest but are still in good shape.
As typical for this era, the bass drum spurs and cymbal arm allow a small amount of rotational movement when tightened. I wouldn’t personally use the cymbal arm, as it’s likely to rotate under the weight of a mounted cymbal. Importantly, the tom holder fastens securely and stays firmly in place, though it can be a little stiff when loosening or removing.

Drum Heads:
This kit features the original Hayman / Remo Coated Ambassadors on all drums besides the snare drum which has an Evans Genera Dry and a Remo Ambassador Snare Side.
The heads are in very good condition overall showing some signs of use but with plenty of life left in them. The snare batter head is the most worn showing considerable use.
