Up for grabs is this late '90s / early 2000s Slingerland 4-piece drum kit from the Music Yo era, made overseas during Gibson’s ownership. These were marketed as affordable but solid gigging kits, and this one is in exceptionally clean condition with upgrades that make it ready to play straight away.
It features the original Slingerland-branded tom mounting system, which uses L-arm style mounts similar to Pearl, but this is all factory spec with no mods, no extra holes
Condition
This kit is in excellent / near mint condition. The wrap is in excellent condition with no major lifting, fading or cracks. Chrome is clean across the board with only very minor pitting in a couple of spots. Shells are in round and tune up well. All badges are present and original.
This kit has clearly been looked after and is a great example from this era. Ideal for gigging, recording, or just enjoying a bit of Slingerland history.

Drum Heads:
The 3x toms have all been fitted with Remo Coated Ambassadors which are in excellent condition. The 16 is showing a bit more use than the 2 rack toms but it still has plenty of life left in it. The toms also have Remo Coated Ambassadors fitted to the resonant sides of 12" & 13". These are in basically new condition. The 16" resonant side has been fitted with a Remo Coated Emperor (bit of an unusual choice but it sounds great!). This is also in near new condition.
The bass drum has been fitted with a Remo Weatherking Coated Bass Drum head which is in great condition, showing signs of use but still with plenty of life left in it. It could benefit from a patch being fitted to it to preserve it's life a bit more!
