A beautifully engineered snare stand from Pearl’s golden hardware era. This early Gyro-Lock model offers full 360° rotation allowing perfect positioning at any angle. Built in Taiwan during the early–mid 1990s, it represents the transition between Pearl’s Unilock and later 800/900 series designs.
The stand features double-braced legs, heavy-duty construction, and Pearl’s signature smooth, precise adjustability. It’s a great example of Pearl’s robust hardware design from that period rock-solid and roadworthy with the refined feel of their higher-end stands.
Condition:
This stand is in fair condition and clearly shows signs of use. There’s noticeable pitting to the chrome along with some small areas of rust, and the rubber basket grips have minor tears.
Despite the cosmetic wear, it remains structurally solid and impressively sturdy, far more so than many modern equivalents. The 360° Gyro-Lock mechanism operates smoothly, with only light resistance at certain angles but nothing that affects function.
