A fantastic vintage Premier APK drum kit finished in the iconic Red Satin Flame wrap with matching chrome hardware throughout. Made in England, APK kits are well regarded for their punchy, focused sound and robust build quality, offering that unmistakable classic Premier character.
The Red Satin Flame finish has loads of visual depth under lighting with the textured flame-pattern wrap giving the kit a really distinctive late 80s / early 90s aesthetic. Paired with black interiors and chrome hardware, it’s a seriously eye-catching setup.
Constructed from eucalyptus and meranti shells, these APK kits have a lively, punchy tone with plenty of attack and projection while still retaining warmth. The 20" bass drum keeps the kit compact and responsive without sacrificing low-end presence, making it a great all-rounder for gigging, rehearsal or studio use.
Condition:
This kit is in very good condition for its age showing some cosmetic wear and signs of use consistent with a vintage gigged kit. The Red Satin Flame wrap has some light marks/scuffs but still presents beautifully overall with strong colour and plenty of visual depth under lighting. Chrome hardware is generally clean with some light age-related wear and minor pitting in places. There are some marks and wear to the bass drum hoop from pedal use and transport. Heads show signs of use but the kit tunes up nicely and functions exactly as it should.

Drum Heads:
Toms:
The toms are fitted with Clear Remo Emperor's on the batter side and Premier CL Clear heads on the resonant sides. The Remo's are showing fair signs of use but with some life left in them.
The resonant heads are all in excellent condition.
Snare drum:
The snare drum has a Evans Power Centre Reverse Dot head on the batter side and a Remo Ambassador Snare Side head on the resonant side. The batter head is fairly worn but remains very playable.
The Resonant side is showing light signs of age but is perfectly functionable.
Bass Drum:
The bass drum is fitted with a Premier CL Extra Batter head and the stock Premier Ebony Resonant head. The batter head has a Remo Double Falam Patch fitted which is showing use but remains perfectly funcionable and has protected the head giving it plenty of future use.
The resonant side is in excellent condition and also benefits from having a port pre-cut in the 5-o'clock position.
