A classic early-’70s Rogers Londoner kit, built during one of the company’s golden eras. These drums feature Rogers’ renowned 5-ply maple/poplar shells with reinforcing rings and the signature grey interior coating, producing a warm, focused tone with smooth sustain and vintage character.
Finished in original Jet Black, this kit retains its factory shells, hoops, spurs, and badges, complete with internal labels dated 9/72. The tom holders have been replaced with later fittings but mount securely with no extra holes or visible damage — a clean and practical upgrade that preserves the kit’s integrity.
A superb example of an iconic Rogers player’s kit that blends vintage tone with modern reliability.
Condition:
This kit is in great vintage condition overall, showing light surface wear and cosmetic marks consistent with age. The wrap has a small area of lifting on the bass drum, though it remains fully intact with no cracks or separation. Chrome hardware presents well with mild patina and age-related wear, while all fittings and mounts function correctly. Bearing edges are clean and shells are solid throughout.

Drum Heads:
The 12" Tom is fitted with a Clear Remo Pinstripe which is in good condition, showing signs of use but with some life left in it.
The 13"&16" toms are fitted with clear unbranded heads which are in great condition with life left in them.
The bass drum is fitted with a Clear Remo Pinstripe which is in very good condition showing little signs of use.
