Beautifully hand-carved African djembe, crafted from solid wood with rope tuning and a natural hide head (likely goat skin). Features traditional carving patterns on the shell and base, with a warm, earthy tone and clear slap and bass separation.
The rope system is well tensioned and there’s plenty of excess for retuning if needed. Great as a functional hand drum or as a decorative centrepiece in a music room or studio.
Condition:
This djembe is in very good condition, showing some light signs of use but no cracks or structural damage. The skin is well seated and still has plenty of life left. A lovely example of traditional craftsmanship with authentic tone and feel.
