Here we have a Yamaha Beech Custom finished in their classic Piano Black high-gloss lacquer. my personal opinion
These kits are seriously undervalued and represent some of the best drums Yamaha ever produced. They are one of the best kits I've ever played, in fact, the studio my band records at (catalyst studios) use this exact model and the results are always phenomenal!
Condition:
This kit is in overall great condition and has clearly been well cared for, showing only honest signs of use consistent with a gigged instrument of this age.
The most noticeable wear is on the 12" tom, which has a concentrated area of cosmetic impact marks to the lacquer finish (pictured). These consist of small chips and surface indentations to the outer lacquer only. The shell itself is structurally sound with no cracks, splits or ply separation, and the drum tunes and performs exactly as it should.
Elsewhere, there are a few minor scuffs and small marks to the toms and bass drum hoops, all typical of normal use.
Importantly, all shells are structurally excellent and round, with clean bearing edges and no issues affecting performance.

Drum Heads:
The toms on this kit are all fitted with Remo Ambassador Coated heads on the batter side. The 10" head looks brand new, the 12" is showing some stick marks and the 14" looking the most worn out of the 3 but still with plenty of life.
The bass drum is fitted with an Aquarian Super Kick 2 Clear head which is in excellent condition showing few signs of use. The batter head for the kick is a stock Yamaha Ebony head with a port pre cut.
